Our volunteers are essential to The Next Stop. We call them the HEART of the organization because without them we could not exist. Their commitment to The Next Stop and to the members is invaluable, and we are fortunate to have such a devoted group!
Our Program Volunteers engage in planned activities with members and support their participation, learning, and understanding. Program Volunteer requirements include
a pre-visit to best understand the program and its goals
background check and fingerprinting
availability Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday from 1:00PM-5:00PM
The Next Stop also enjoys and benefits from Specialty Volunteers who visit once or occasionally and share their special skill or interest with our members.
